Central Philippine Nazarene College warmly welcomed School Year 2026–2027 as students, teachers, parents, and staff gathered together for the first flag ceremony. As the morning sun brightened the campus, the school once again came alive with cheerful smiles, warm greetings, and hopeful conversations. More than simply marking the opening of classes, the gathering became a meaningful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the blessing of starting another journey together as one community. Filled with faith, hope, and renewed inspiration, everyone embraced the new opportunities, challenges, and memorable experiences that the new school year will bring.
The ceremony began with a heartfelt prayer, the solemn singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the recitation of the Panatang Makabayan and the Nazarenian pledge. Students stood proudly and respectfully, showing discipline, patriotism, and readiness to embrace another inspiring year of education.
More than a formal gathering, the first flag ceremony became a celebration of God’s faithfulness and guidance. Through prayers and inspiring messages from the enthusiastic OIC School President, Rev. Leo Mahanlud, along with the warm welcome of Interim Basic Education Principal, Mrs. Marilou A. Babao, the school community was reminded that Christ remains the center of life and education at Central Philippine Nazarene College. Teacher Malou ended with the reading of Ecclesiastes 3:11: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end” as the bible verse of the month. This verse reminded the entire school community to trust in God’s perfect plan and timing. Indeed, School Year 2026–2027 is not just another school year at Central Philippine Nazarene College, it is a season of growth, faith, excellence, and amazing opportunities where beautiful things are sure to happen.
