The PhilMicTEEN program equips gifted and committed individuals for ministry by making theological and biblical education accessible.
Its mission is to prepare:
The program provides the required courses for district license issuance and ordination, ensuring that every learner is biblically grounded, ministry-ready, and spiritually formed.
The curriculum can be used in three ways:
The focus of the Christian Leadership Certificate (CLC) and Diploma of Ministry (DipMin) for the Church of the Nazarene in the Philippines-Micronesia Field is to develop individuals holistically for ministry in the Church, utilizing validated ordination curriculum.
The Diploma of Ministry (DipMin) curriculum comprises twenty-four (24) courses totaling seventy-two (72) units. Its aim is to provide holistic development aligned with the 4Cs: Content, Competency, Character, and Context.
This program fulfills the Course of Study prescribed by the International Course of Study Advisory Committee (ICOSAC) and the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene.
The program is a cooperative venture among Philippine Nazarene College (PNC), Central Philippine Nazarene College (CPNC), Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS), and all districts within the Philippine-Micronesia field.
Within the Diploma of Ministry (DipMin), there is the Christian Leadership Certificate (CLC), consisting of ten (10) courses totaling thirty (30) units.
The CLC fulfills the educational requirement for the initial issuance of a district license and is designed to empower lay people for effective ministry.
The Philippine-Micronesia Theological Education by Extension (PhilMicTEEN) allows learners to progress from the CLC to the DipMin program.
Many graduates continue formal education. DipMin graduates may enroll in the Bachelor of Arts in Theology (ABTh) at PNC, CPNC, or APNTS, and may later pursue Master’s-level studies at APNTS.
